The more context we have, the more useful our first reply will be. Where possible, tell us what has happened and when, who else is involved, and whether any deadline or court date already applies to you.
If correspondence has been exchanged, or you have received a contract, notice or claim form, please say so. Deadlines in legal matters are often short and strictly enforced, so flag anything time-critical in your first message rather than waiting for a meeting.
Enquiries are directed to the department best placed to answer them. Property transactions go to our Residential Property and Commercial Property teams, business matters to Corporate and Commercial, and contested matters to Litigation.

We confirm our charging basis in writing before work begins. Depending on the matter that may be a fixed fee, an hourly rate with an agreed estimate, or a conditional fee arrangement in personal injury and clinical negligence claims.
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. An initial response usually follows within one working day. Nothing sent through this page creates a solicitor-client relationship, and no retainer exists until we have confirmed it in an engagement letter.
